TRIPLE B BRANGUS ANNUAL PRODUCTION SALE

Operated by Lindsay and Fiona Barlow, the Triple B Brangus Stud is based on properties around Dingo, Central Queensland.

The objective of Triple B is to produce even lines of commercially driven bulls and females. Two hundred bulls are produced annually utilizing proven females and leading sires, both of homebred and outcross genetics.

The stud herd is fully Breedplan and DNA recorded, being the most comprehensibly recorded Brangus herd with generations of objective measurements. Current trends indicate the entire Triple B herd’s average is equal to or above the breed average for all 16 traits and indexes.

In 2020, Triple B undertook a complete DNA profile of the entire stud herd involving some 1500 Brangus Bundle Tests. This bold new step of DNA profiling the entire stud herd brings a host of benefits to their program. It provides clients with the additional information on Poll, Coat Colour genes and full Parent Verification of the stud herd. Into the future it will also greatly assist with more information when planning mating and Genomics enhanced EBV’s will create even higher accuracy for EBV’s.

Triple B provides proven genetics, using all the current science and technology available to enhance the breeding program, but it is backed by a commercial cattleman’s eye.
